Charles Wolford spent a colorful and independent youth in small towns across Texas. Determined to see the world, he studied in Austin at the University of Texas, and later at the University of Houston where he completed his degree in Journalism and English.

Advertising was his ticket out of Texas and over the next decade he would call Chicago, Portland and Amsterdam home, building an impressive, award-winning body of commercial production work as well as working with some of the industry's top talent.

After a successful tenure as Director of Broadcast at Wieden & Kennedy in Europe, he was recruited back to the States by Satellite Films, a commercial, music video and film production company based in Hollywood in need of an Executive Producer. From 2003-2010, he worked exclusively with Boston based independent agency Modernista! as Director of Broadcast. He is currently a Content Management Executive with entertainment agency CAA (Creative Artists Agency) in Los Angeles.

His growing body of photography work largely documents his fascination with nature and architecture and benefits from extensive travels around the world and work with noted visual directors.

Modern home renovations to his home in Amsterdam caught the attention of Elle Decor, Vogue, and Modern Living magazines, where his flat was published. Post-modern renovations of homes in the Hollywood Hills, Palm Desert and Three Rivers, all in California have provided the palette for some of his most distinctive work.

His current home, Kaweah Falls, has been published in Sunset Magazine, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, as well as numerous other design magazines and blogs. The home recently selected as a finalist in Dwell Magazine’s “Houses We Love” international design contests.

He currently resides with his partner in Three Rivers, California near the base of Sequoia National Park.
